Biomotor Training

Biomotor abilities are abilities in the biological and motor domains that enable success in athletic performance. There are five primary Biomotor Abilities used for speed and power in sports:

  • Strength — the ability to produce force.
  • Speed — the ability to move the body and its parts rapidly.
  • Endurance — the ability to resist fatigue.
  • Flexibility — the ability to attain large ranges of motion at the joints.
  • Coordination — the ability to accurately and efficiently move the body and its parts in order to accomplish a task.

Cornerstone Athletics’ programs specialize in enhancing the Biomotor Abilities through Multilateral Training — a philosophy of training that features developing all of the Biomotor Abilities in planned balance. This technique enables athletes to achieve optimal levels of performance in their respective sport or event.
